The Mississippi Panthers Conclude 2021 Season After Tough WNFC Playoff Loss
JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI: The Mississippi Panthers, the local women’s football team, finished the 2021 season on Thursday night (07/15/2021) in the first round of the WNFC playoffs. The Panthers were one of eight teams to make the 2021 playoffs before losing a challenging game to the Texas Elite Spartans (of Dallas, TX) in the WNFC Eastern Division Playoffs in Atlanta, GA. On the road to their first playoff berth, the Panthers enjoyed impressive victories at home and on the road finishing the regular season 4-2 (2-1 at home and 2-1 on the road).

You sacrificed your time, body, and more for the love of this game. I’m honored you chose my organization to share your talents. I want to thank my coaches for putting in countless hours to prepare this team for every game this season. I also want to thank my game day crew and all of the behind-the-scenes staff and volunteers for all you have done and are still doing to help me take this organization to the next level. Finally, I want to thank the WNFC for welcoming us to this league. I truly believe the WNFC is the pinnacle of women’s football, and it is an honor to be a part of the historic things you all are doing.”
Mississippi Panthers is a premier women’s tackle football team in Mississippi with a mission to bring legitimacy and respect to the sport of women’s football and provide women the opportunity to play professional football and represent the state of Mississippi. The Mississippi Panthers are proud members of the WNFC (Women’s National Football Conference). The football stadium at Madison Ridgeland Academy in Madison, MS, served home field for the 2021 season. The WNFC season continues with the championship games for each division this weekend, and the Championship weekend in August. Eastern Division Title game will be played Saturday (07/17/2021) in Atlanta, GA. The Western Division Title game will be played Saturday (07/17/2021) in West Valley City, UT. The WNFC Championship Game will be held in Denton, TX, on August 7, 2021.
